Ingredients:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder (or 3 cloves fresh minced garlic)
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon ground white or black pepper
Optional: 1–2 teaspoons Dijon mustard or a dash of hot sauce for extra kick
Instructions:
1. Mix it up:
In a medium bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
2. Marinate the steak:
Place steaks in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, making sure it’s well coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
3. Grill or sear:
Remove steak from the marinade and let it come to room temp (~30 minutes) before cooking. Grill or pan-sear to your desired doneness.
4. Rest and serve:
Let the steak rest for 5–10 minutes after cooking to keep it juicy. Slice against the grain and serve.
