Grandma’s Peach Cobbler Pie

Sweet, buttery, and full of peachy goodness!

Ingredients:

2 lbs sliced frozen peaches (thawed)

1 cup granulated sugar

8 tbsp (1 stick) butter

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Suggested Additions (Optional):

1 tsp vanilla extract (for extra flavor)

1 tbsp lemon juice (to balance sweetness)

Pie crust or biscuit topping (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Prepare the filling:

In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Add a splash of water (2–3 tbsp) if needed.

Cook over medium heat for about 10–15 minutes until peaches are tender and mixture is syrupy

3. Add butter:

Stir in butter until melted and well mixed.
4. Assemble the cobbler pie:

If using a pie crust: Place bottom crust in a baking dish or pie pan. Pour in the peach filling. Cover with top crust or lattice pattern.

If using biscuit dough or cobbler topping: Spoon topping evenly over peach mixture

5. Bake:

Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and filling is bubbling.

6. Cool slightly before serving.
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
