Sweet, buttery, and full of peachy goodness!
Ingredients:
2 lbs sliced frozen peaches (thawed)
1 cup granulated sugar
8 tbsp (1 stick) butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Suggested Additions (Optional):
1 tsp vanilla extract (for extra flavor)
1 tbsp lemon juice (to balance sweetness)
Pie crust or biscuit topping (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the filling:
In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Add a splash of water (2–3 tbsp) if needed.
Cook over medium heat for about 10–15 minutes until peaches are tender and mixture is syrupy
3. Add butter:
Stir in butter until melted and well mixed.
4. Assemble the cobbler pie:
If using a pie crust: Place bottom crust in a baking dish or pie pan. Pour in the peach filling. Cover with top crust or lattice pattern.
If using biscuit dough or cobbler topping: Spoon topping evenly over peach mixture
5. Bake:
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and filling is bubbling.
6. Cool slightly before serving.
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
