Ingredients:
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or low-sodium soy sauce)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or lime juice)
1–1.5 pounds salmon, skinless, cut into bite-sized cubes
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions:
1. Prep the Salmon:
Cut salmon into 1- to 1.5-inch cubes.
Season lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Make the Glaze:
In a small bowl, mix together:
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
Set aside.
3. Sear the Salmon:
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add a drizzle of oil.
Add salmon cubes, searing for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through.
Remove salmon and set aside.
4. Cook the Glaze:
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
Add 1 tbsp butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for ~30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the honey-soy-lemon mixture.
Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Glaze the Salmon:
Return salmon to the pan.
Toss gently to coat all pieces in the glaze.
Let it cook for another 1–2 minutes, basting the salmon.
6. Serve:
Garnish with parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds.
Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
