1. HOT LAUREL TEA
✅ Benefits:
Bay leaf has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, and respiratory soothing properties. It helps loosen mucus and soothe coughs.
đ Ingredients:
3-4 bay leaves (fresh or dried)
250 ml of water
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
đȘ Preparation:
Bring the water to a boil.
Add the bay leaves and simmer for 10 minutes.
Filter and let cool.
Add honey and lemon if you want to enhance the calming and disinfecting effect.
☕ Drink 2-3 cups a day, especially in the evening before going to bed.
đŻ 2. HONEY SYRUP (with lemon and ginger)
✅ Benefits:
Honey soothes the throat and reduces coughing; ginger is anti-inflammatory; lemon, rich in vitamin C, strengthens the immune system.
đ Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of raw honey (preferably organic)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
đȘ Preparation:
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you get a uniform consistency.
Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator (lasts about 5-7 days).
đœ Take 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day, also as needed in case of dry or chesty cough.
