*Grilled Whole Fish with Lemon and Herbs


 


*Ingredients:*
– 1 whole sea bass (or any white fish), cleaned and scaled
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 lemon, sliced
– Fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, or thyme)
– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. *Prepare the Fish:*
– Rinse the whole fish under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
– Make several shallow cuts on both sides of the fish to allow the marinade to penetrate.

2. *Make the Marinade:*
– In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
– Rub the marinade all over the fish, making sure to get it into the cuts.

3. *Stuff the Fish:*
– Place lemon slices and fresh herbs inside the cavity of the fish.

4. *Grill the Fish:*
– Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
– Grill the fish for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
– Use a fish spatula to carefully flip the fish halfway through cooking.

5. *Serve:*
– Remove the fish from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.
– Garnish with additional lemon slices and fresh herbs if desired.
