A Hearty, Family-Friendly Baked Pork Chop Dinner
This Pork Chop Supreme is a classic comfort food dish that’s incredibly easy to prepare and packed with flavor. With tender pork chops, creamy mushroom sauce, and layers of sliced potatoes, this one-pan wonder is the perfect all-in-one weeknight meal or cozy weekend dinner.
Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops
4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk (optional, to thin the soup)
Salt & pepper to taste
Butter or non-stick spray for greasing
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
2. Prepare the Potato Layer
Evenly layer the thinly sliced potatoes on the bottom of the dish.
Season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Add the Pork Chops
Place the boneless pork chops on top of the potato layer.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the pork and potatoes.
4. Mix the Soup
In a small bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 cup of milk (optional) to make it more pourable.
Pour the soup mixture evenly over the pork chops and potatoes.
5. Bake
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
6. Uncover & Brown (Optional)
For a golden top, uncover during the last 10–15 minutes of baking.
