Lemon Cheesecake Mousse


 


A light, tangy, and creamy no-bake dessert that’s perfect for lemon lovers!

Ingredients (Serves ~4–6)

8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled

½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar

¼ cup (60 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the cream cheese mixture:

Let the cream cheese soften for about 15 minutes.

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar until smooth and creamy.

Mix in lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

2️⃣ Whip the cream:

In a separate bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

3️⃣ Combine:

Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the lemon cream cheese mixture.

Fold in the remaining whipped cream carefully until fully incorporated and airy.

4️⃣ Chill and serve:

Spoon the mousse into serving dishes or glasses.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Tips

Garnish with lemon zest, candied lemon slices, or fresh berries for extra flair.

For a layered dessert, add crushed graham crackers or shortbread crumbs at the bottom of the serving dish before adding mousse.

Keep chilled until ready to serve for best texture.
