Strawberry Citrus Iced Tea
A refreshing, fruity twist on classic iced tea—just like Grandma used to make!
Bright, sweet strawberries and zesty citrus mingle with bold black tea in this perfectly chilled drink. Ideal for sharing with friends and family on a sunny day.
Ingredients
4 cups water
4 black tea bags
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
¼ cup honey or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
Ice cubes, for serving
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Steep the tea: Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 5–7 minutes (longer for stronger tea). Discard tea bags.
Sweeten (if using): Stir honey or sugar into the warm tea until dissolved. Let cool to room temperature.
Prep the fruit: Slice strawberries, orange, and lemon while the tea cools.
Combine & infuse: In a large pitcher, mix the cooled tea with sliced fruit. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
Serve: Pour over ice in glasses. Garnish with mint and a citrus slice for a vibrant finish.
Sip, savor, and share the love—just like old times!
