Not Your Mama’s Banana Pudding


 


Ingredients:

1. 2 boxes of vanilla pudding mix

2. 4 cups of cold milk

3. 1 can of sweetened condensed milk

4. 1 box of vanilla wafers

5. 4 ripe bananas, sliced

6. 1 container of whipped topping

7. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

 

Directions:

Prep the Pudding Mixture:

1.1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thick.

1.2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.

Layer the Pudding:

2.1. In a large serving dish, layer the bottom with vanilla wafers.

2.2. Top the wafers with a layer of sliced bananas.

2.3. Pour a portion of the pudding mixture over the bananas.

2.4. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top.

Chill the Pudding:

3.1. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Add Toppings:

4.1. Before serving, spread the whipped topping over the chilled pudding.

4.2. Sprinkle vanilla wafers crumbs on top for extra crunch.

Serve:

5.1. Scoop out portions of the banana pudding into individual bowls or cups.

5.2. Garnish with additional banana slices and vanilla wafers if desired.
