Ingredients
Pizza Base
2 packages crescent rolls (8 oz each)
Sausage Gravy
1 package cooked sausage crumbles (or cook your own: ~1 lb breakfast sausage)
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2½ cups milk
Salt & black pepper to taste
Toppings
1 to 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella (optional for melty texture)
6 eggs, scrambled (soft scrambled – they’ll finish cooking in the oven)
Optional: chopped green onions, crumbled bacon, or hot sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven
Set oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the crust
Unroll crescent rolls and press into a greased baking sheet or pizza pan to form a crust.
Pinch seams together and slightly raise the edges to create a border.
Bake 5–7 minutes until just starting to set (don’t overbake).
3. Make the sausage gravy
In a skillet over medium heat, combine sausage crumbles and flour. Stir to coat.
Gradually whisk in milk.
Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened (about 5–7 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Scramble the eggs
Lightly scramble eggs in a separate pan until just set (still soft – they’ll bake more in the oven).
5. Assemble the pizza
Spread sausage gravy evenly over the pre-baked crust.
Top with scrambled eggs.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
Add extra toppings if desired (bacon, scallions, etc.).
6. Bake
Return pizza to oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Serve
Let rest a couple of minutes, then slice and serve hot!
