Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
2 eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp olive oil (optional for greasing)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing them horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
Stuff each butterflied chicken breast with a generous scoop of the cream cheese mixture. Fold the chicken back over and secure with toothpicks if needed.
Set up a dredging station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed Doritos.
Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then press into crushed Doritos to fully coat.
Place coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the Doritos coating is golden and crispy.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks before eating.
